Query on reselling hosting: I would like to build my own server to keep in my house. I want to have the ability to sell designated amounts of my server space to random people. My question is what server operating system allows this? I know Windows Home Server is reliable and easy to use, but, from my understanding, it only gives you the ability to host your own websites and is incapable of assigning server space/access to clients in another part of the country to host their website(s). I know there isn’t that much money to be made. I am interested in this as a hobby and a way to make some monthly pocket cash. Let me be clear. I am not interested in buying bulk server space from large companies to resell. I want to sell server space from my own self-built server. Does anyone know what server os will allow this functionality, while at the same time being stable, secure, and relatively easy to use? Does such a thing even exist? Please help. Google has let me down in the search for these answers.
