How to Win

  1. Log on to and like QCinema Facebook page and download the  QCinema 2015 application form for the Circle Competition for New Filmmakers and DoQC International Documentary Competition
  2. Entry Guidelines
    • Circle Competition for New Filmmakers
      • Profile of filmmaker proponents (director, writer and producer)
      • Soft copy (PDF format) and hard copy (short bond paper) of the following documents. Must not contain the names of the authors
        • 1 page synopsis
        • Director’s statement
        • Sequence outline  – Must have a minimum of 60 sequences 
        • Complete screenplay – Must have a minimum of 60 sequences 
      • Director’s reel and sample works in DVD format
      • Proposed budget outline (in the format of pre-production, production and post-production)
      • Final film output must be a maximum of 100 minutes TRT and in AVI format with English subtitles
      • Co-financiers may be involved in the project as long as the overall budget is pegged at maximum P3 million
    • DoQC International Documentary Competition
      • Profile of filmmaker proponent (director)
      • Softcopy (PDF format) and hardcopy (short bond paper) of the following documents
        • 1 concept paper
        • Director’s statement
        • Topic outline
      • Applicable for on-going documentary projects that already have existing footage to be submitted (minimum of 15 minutes footage, DVD format)
      • Director’s reel and sample works in DVD format
      • Proposed budget outline (in the format of pre-production, production and post-production)
      • Final film output must be minimum of 45 minutes TRT (maximum 90 minutes TRT) and in AVI format with English subtitles

  4. Use of original literary sources, music materials and film footage must have proper clearance from its respective copyright owners
  5. Rights for the completed film output belong to the filmmaker;however, QCFDC, as executive producer, reserves the right to screen the film for its events
  6. Final film output must have its Philippine premier in QCinema 2015
