  1. Log on to Doodle 4 Google Challenge site at the link below, download the Doodle 4 Google template entry form, print, and start doodling
  2. Theme: What Can I Do For The Philippines?
  3. Grade Groups
    • Ages 5 – 8
    • Ages 9 – 11
    • Ages 12 – 14
    • Ages 15 – 17
  4. Entry Guidelines
    • The Doodle should be two-dimensional and scannable
    • Must be original, unpublished works that do not contain, incorporate or otherwise use any content, material or element that is owned by a third party or entity
    • The supported file formats are JPG and PNG
    • If a scanner is not available, high quality photos (at least 300 dpi) will be accepted
    • Must not contain any content, material or element that displays any third party advertising, slogan, logo, trademark or otherwise indicates a sponsorship or endorsement by a third party, commercial entity or that is not within the spirit of the Competition, as determined by Google, in its sole discretion
  5. Applications can only be submitted online or through the participating mailing addresses by parents, legal guardians or teachers on your behalf 
  6. Judging Criteria
    • Artistic Merit – The quality and skill demonstrated in the doodle. The student’s or learner’s age group is considered when evaluating this category
    • Creativity – How well the student incorporated the Google logo into his or her illustration. The logo must be readable. Unique and creative uses of the letters, background, foreground, etc. are all taken into account
    • Theme Communication – How clearly the competition theme is expressed in both the artwork and the written statement
  7. Only one application per entrant
  8. If more are submitted they will be disqualified and only the first one received will be counted
  9. There is no limit to the amount of applications a school or community learning center can submit as long as each one is from a different student or learner. Multiple applications can be submitted at once. 
    • E.g. teachers can scan an entire class’ applications and upload
  10. Google will select the best 100 doodles from each age group, across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. From the 400 doodles, the Guest Judges will select 10 finalists from each of the age group. From there (40 finalists), Google Doodles will be posted on the website for public voting wherein one winner per age group will be selected. . From the 4 age group winners, only one will be picked as the overall winner
  11. The winning doodle will be displayed in Google Philippines homepage for 24 hours
  12. Each person may cast one vote, one for each age group
